The Click Of A Mouse

by melville Lomax

The click of a mouse I found you
All those long years ago
One look at your face and I knew then
This man I wanted to know.

The mail and the music you send me
Reaches deep down in my heart
I just want to hug and to hold you
Just never no never to part.

Limitations I know you do fear now
Your body may seem oh so frail
Nothing that ever would ever phase me
My care would calm any gale.

Life sends us choices you see Dear
Grab at them while you can
Love and affection to savour
Would warm the heart of a man.

Our Autumn years they are here now
Wild oats we surely have sewn
Just cuddle up here beside me
With a love that is truly our own.
